• Account & profile details — name, email address, mobile number, password, location/address, bio and profile photo.
• Pet information — pet name, type, breed, age, weight, gender and photos.
• Care activity — requests, offers, proposals, messages, availability and reviews.
• Token & payment data — token balance, token purchases and spending history, membership level, and order records. Card payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
• Technical data — IP address, device and browser information, and cookies used to keep you signed in and improve the service.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account, profile and pet listings.
• To match care requests with providers and facilitate bookings.
• To operate the token system — issuing signup tokens, processing token purchases, holding tokens for active bookings, and releasing or refunding tokens when a service completes or is cancelled.
• To manage memberships and process payments.
• To send transactional emails (e.g. welcome, request submitted, proposal accepted, tokens released, password changed).
• To provide support, prevent fraud and abuse, and keep the community safe.
• To comply with our legal obligations.

3. Tokens and Transaction Records

Tokens are the platform's internal credit used to book pet-care services. To run the token system we keep a record of your token balance and a ledger of token movements — for example tokens earned at signup, tokens you purchase, tokens held while a booking is in progress, and tokens released to a provider or refunded to you. These records are retained for accounting, dispute resolution and fraud-prevention purposes. Tokens have no cash value and are not redeemable for money except where required by law.

4. How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to run the service:

• With other members — your public profile, pets, approximate location and reviews are visible to other members so they can decide whether to book or accept care. Contact details (such as phone) are shared with the other party only once a booking/proposal is accepted.
• With service providers — payment processors, hosting, email delivery and analytics, who may process data on our behalf.
• For legal reasons — where required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our members.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember preferences, and understand how the platform is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work without them.

6. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. Token and payment records may be retained longer to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. You may request deletion of your account, after which we remove or anonymise personal data that we are not required to keep.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep your password confidential.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update most details from your account settings, or contact us using the details below.

9. Children

The platform is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
